Sometimes, we may have to do something in a hurry such as go to school, an appointment, or go on a date with a boyfriend/girlfriend, in this situation taking a shower might not be an option.
Other times, you have P.E, which makes you be tired, stinky, and sweaty. You don't want to go to your next class like that, do you? Especially when you feel uncomfortable taking a shower in gym class.
Maybe you are plagued by body odor that seems to pop up during the most inopportune times .
Or just to lazy to get up and take a shower.
so what can you do ?
- the most important step is to get clean clothes, because odor tends to linger on fabric, so wearing a clean shirt would reduce the smell by 50%
- ( this step might not be an option sometimes, but it is highly recommended )
wash your armpits with soap, because armpits are the main source of smell, keeping it clean will get rid of the smell.
- But if washing is not an option, you can use use baby wipes, it cleans, sanitize, and smells good, also it is really good for people with sensitive skin.
my favourite is chubs baby wipes, because it doesn't smell like baby powder (I am not a big fan of baby powder smell)
and it only cost $1~$2 |
- apply deodorant. it is really important to do this, deodorant helps get rid of the odor and it reduces sweating (when using anti-perspiration).. even if you don't smell bad you HAVE to wear deodorant, I apply it every morning when I wake up.
- apply scented lotion, and helps mask the smell and it stays on for a long time.
I like to apply it underneath my arms like this :
- as for hair, my hair rarely have a bad smell, when it gets oily and I have no time to wash it, I put really tiny amount of talk powder on the roots on the front of my head and comb it through my hair -WARNING: don't put too much powder because it is hard to get it out of your hair, especially if you have dark hair it is very obvious- another option would be dry shampoo, but I never used it before.
- apply nice smelling perfume, if you want the smell to stay on longer, then apply it on your pulse points, I also like to apply perfume on my hair :)
if you follow these steps, no one would be able to tell that you skipped taking a shower ^___^
