Review: Baviphat Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Mask

Hello ~

it is time for another review :]

today's review would be about a product from Baviphat Fruit Miracle series. This series offers a variety of fruit-inspired products, not only containing fruit extracts, but also with the packing shaped like fruits.
I bought this product in my last haul, and I've been using it since then, even though I haven't been using it that long, I can really see noticeable difference to my skin ^___^

This delicious apple sleeping pack is designed to remove dead skin cells leaving skin fresh and moisturized.

Recommended for:
- people who have lots of skin trouble?
- someone who wants easy skin care .
ingredient list (if you can read Korean)

size: 100g
Packaging: cute apple shaped plastic container
it comes with a little spoon, very hygienic :]

a little goes a long way, this much would be more than enough for your face and neck.

Texture: somewhat like gel consistence and it is a little bit sticky right after applying, but it soaks into your skin after a few minutes.

when you spread it it looks oily, but it is not.

Price: $9.10 (from ebay)

How to use: Use it as a substitute for cream at night. Apply an appropriate amount to face and neck. Then gently massage and tab until thoroughly absorbed. Rinse off in the next morning.
( I wash my face with MISSHA Creamy Latte Cleansing Foam #01 Choco Latte, then apply Holika Holika 3 seconds Starter Vita Complex, after that I use this mask and go to sleep )

Pros:
- it have a very nice smell (like apple).
- it does what it is supposed to (soften, brighten, and clears skin).
- removing dead skin cells.
- get rid of skin troubles (I had some pimples on my forehead, and a really swollen pimple between my eyebrows, it disappeared in 3 days !!).
btw, AC stands for acne care.

Cons:
- the jar size is somewhat big, and the design (round) makes it hard to hold ( I am clumsy XP).

Repurchase: maybe, but I really want to try the baviphat Lemon Whitening Sleeping Pack.

Circle Lenses Review: Geo Grang Grang Choco 14.2 (HC-246)

First review from my haul, and my first pair of circle lenses :]

I've been wearing contact lenses (ACUVUE® OASYS®) for six month due to inherited bad eye sight, and when I ran out of lenses I wanted to try circle lenses, not only because they make your eyes beautiful and they have pretty design, but also because they are cheap ( my normal lenses cost $98 for six months supply).

So I've been hunting the web to find my first pair of circle lenses when I came across circlelens.com they offer free shipping worldwide, and their circle lenses cost $17.90 to $21.90 which is a great deal, and they have an amazing customer service.

I placed my order on 7th August, shipped on 9th of August, and it reached Bahrain on 12th August but the post office here love to delay packages so I got it on 15th.

you can see the lenses design here
after taking pictures, I opened the lenses and put them in the included lenses case (not pictures) and let them sit there until the next day (I've read that you have to do that in circle lenses caring guides)

nest day I was going to have lunch in my aunt house so I thought it was a great opportunity to try my new lenses, but when I first but them on, I was freaked out because I looked scary, my sister was standing next to me and she said I looked kinda weird, so I called my mom into the room and she froze in her place, then asked me what is wrong with my eyes (she was scared).. I felt really about about my lenses and I tried to tone them down by wearing some eyeliner/mascara, my sister said I looked better with makeup, my brother said I looked weird (tbh, I never take my brother opinion seriously because he knows nothing about makeup, and he always says it looks weird/ugly/stupid).. I was feeling so bad about the lenses I considered taking them off, but my sister encouraged me to keep them saying I look normal. So I listened to her and went to my aunt's house feeling a bit embarrassed/anxious.. but nobody commented on it so I was a bit relieved.. but then my aunt was talking to my dad and she toke a quick glance at my direction (where her 2yrs old daughter is making a mess) and she said to me: those lenses, your eyes looks huge (in a mocking/sarcastic tone).. I was so embarrassed/humiliated because everyone there gave a judging look, and I felt nauseated.

I started playing on my phone so I'll be looking down the whole time and no one could see my eyes, but then I started having a headache and my eyes hurt, then I remembered I was wearing my contacts ( this happens all the time when I wear contact while using my phone/laptop), so I toke my lenses off.

when we came back home, my mom told me that she'll give me money s I can buy another pair of circle lenses that doesn't look so scary, she said: you looked like something from a horror movie :(

nevertheless, I wanted to do a review, so I wore them today, and to my surprise they looked perfect on me :)

so here is the review :
this is the lenses in the case

and this is how they look on me

  • Colour and Pattern: the colour matches my eye perfectly, and the design blend very well in my eye.
  • Enlargement: I am not sure because it is my first pair of circle lenses, but they are HUGE!
  • Comfort: extremely comfortable, they are more comfortable than my previous lenses (ACUVUE® OASYS®).. I didn't wear them for more than an hour yet, but I did not feel them in my eyes at all because they are so thin (compared to normal lenses, I can feel them when I blink)
  • Overall: except the fact that they are a bit too big, I love them
  • Rating: 4.5/5

they look great with just eyeliner&mascara
please ignore my ungroomed eyebrows XP
what do you think ? do I look creepy ?

rape prevention campaign

ATTENTION ALL GIRLS AND LADIES

if you walk from home, school, office or anywhere and you are alone and you come across a little boy crying holding a piece of paper with an address on it, DO NOT TAKE HIM THERE! take him straight to the police station for this is the new 'gang' way of rape. The incident is getting worse. Warn your families so this message can get across to everyone.

skincare haul ^___^

Since I came back from my vacation in Oman, my skin have been acting differently.. I have normal but it is a bit oily on the nose and it is really easy to take care of it, all I have to do is wash it weekly and it'll be good :)
But now it is breaking out a lot on my chin, my nose is flacky and very oily (which cause it to be covered in tiny oily pimples), my skin looks grayish and dull, and no matter what I do it still looks dirty and ugly X(

One day my mom asked me if I've been washing my face, because she said my skin looks really horrible and disgusting.. so I told her that my face wash is not working anymore and I need money to buy a new one (making puppy eyes and hinting complaining that I won't be able to find good product locally).

Next day she told that she recharged my credit card so I can buy a face wash, and that BB cream I've been wanting to get.
I checked the balance and it was 30 BHD ($79) !! So I bought all the stuff I wanted >:)
which resulted in this :

don't worry, I am not using these masks on my own.. some of them for my mom and some for my sister too
and I got a lot of samples

hopefully I'll be able to make reviews soon :)

it now requires an ID to remove your nail polish

Image sourse

Remember to take your ID with you the next time you want to buy nail polish remover, Because of the new policy at several pharmacy stores/CVS you are required to show a form of personal identification before purchasing products that contain acetone, which is an ingredient used in making methamphetamine.

CVS/Pharmacy issued a statement that reads:
Because acetone is an ingredient used in the illegal manufacture of methamphetamine, we recently implemented a policy that a valid ID must be presented to purchase acetone-containing products such as nail polish remover. Our policy also limits the sale of these products in conjunction with other methamphetamine precursors and is based on various regulations requiring retailers to record sales of acetone.

Personally I don't like this idea, because a lot of people under the age of 18 like to use nail polish, and this policy will make it inconvenient for them. What do you think ?

Review: VLCC Cacti & Litchi Gentle Hydrating Face Wash

Today I am going to review a face wash I bought last month, it was on sale so I thought why not give it a try ? ( yeah.. I would buy things even if I don't need them if they were on sale XP)

product claims:
Facial skin needs daily cleansing and moisture balance to stay smooth and hydrated. This gentle yet intensive soap-free face wash enriched with Cacti & Litchi as natural cleansers, penetrates deep into the skin, detoxifies and clears skin of dirt and other impurities. It retains skin’s natural moisture balance while deeply hydrating leaving skin feeling soft, smooth and refreshed.

ingredients: there is no list of ingredients on the tube, only key ingredients, which is Cacti extract & Litchi extract.

size: 150ml

packaging: a transparent squeeze tube with flip open cap (which is crappy, it does not close at all)

see what I mean ?
 price: 1.8 BHD ( approximately $4.7 )
skin type: normal to dry skin
How to use: Moisten face and neck and gently massage all over. Rinse off and pat dry. Use daily, morning and evening.

texture: very smooth and soft, it is very runny and not thick at all ( which I hate because so much of the product is wasted due to the horrible cap )

now let's test it :)
I swatched some lipstick, missha BB cream, and eyeliner ( kajal & liquid eyeliner ( pen and brush) both waterproof)

it doesn't foam, which I like

it is clean !

Pros:
- Cleanses my skin without drying it out (it does moisturize it as they claim)
- Cleans the skin well
- Doesn't leaves any residue behind
- Make the skin feel really soft and smooth
- Doesn't smell like soap
Cons:
- The packaging quality is bad
Availability might be a problem because it is not available online, and it is hard to find it locally (not all stores carry it, but I think I can find it in VLCC branches) .

Repurchase: probably not, because the packaging is bad.
