Today's review is different (I did a similar one before though, Anime review: Suki-tte Ii Na Yo) today I'll be reviewing a movie I've been wanting to watch for a while now, and finally got to watch it, the movie is: Pandorum

Storyline: Pandorum tells the terrifying story of two crew members stranded on a spacecraft who quickly – and horrifically – realize they are not alone.

Two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft.  It’s pitch black, they are disoriented, and the only sound is a low rumble and creak from the belly of the ship.  They can’t remember anything:  Who are they?  What is their mission?

With Lt. Payton (Dennis Quaid) staying behind to guide him via radio transmitter, Cpl. Bower (Ben Foster) ventures deep into the ship and begins to uncover a terrifying reality.  Slowly the spacecraft’s shocking, deadly secrets are revealed…and the astronauts find their own survival is more important than they could ever have imagined.

قصة الفلم: باندورم  يحكي قصة مرعبة عن إثنين من افراد الطاقم الذين تقطعت بهم السبل على متن مركبة فضاء، والذين سرعان ما - وبطريقة مروعة - يدركون أنهم ليسوا وحدهم .

  اثنين من رواد الفضاء إستيقضى في غرفة فرط النوم على متن مركبة فضائية مهجورة على ما يبدو . انها حالكة السواد ، و هما يشعران بتشتت ، و الصوت الوحيد هو تشويش وتحطيم آتٍ من بطن السفينة. أنهم لا يستطيعون تذكر أي شيء : من هم؟ ما هي مهمتهم ؟

يظهر الملازم بايتون ( دينيس كويد ) اللذي بقي في غرفة القيادة ليرشد العريف بور (بن فوستر ) عبر الجهاز اللاسلكي. يقوم العريف بالإستطلاع داخل السفينة  ليبدأ بكشف واقع مرعب . بشيئاً فشيء  تنكشف أسرار المركبة الفضائية المروعة والقاتلة ... ويكتشف رواد الفضاء أن بقائهم على قيد الحياة هو أكثر أهمية مما كانو يتصورون.

Corporal Bower inside the pod

What I think: most of the time I crave dystopian/post-apocalyptic movies (I'm weird I know) but it is not easy to find a good one, and it have been a while since I watched a good movie in general, this movie was one of the best movies I've ever watched. seriously a great movie and  really captivating. Not exactly a horror movie but it contains a lot of jump scares, and have ugly cannibal monsters, and that child monster that I hated so much it is so creepy, it is the horror part in this movie. explaining the plot is impossible, and trying not to spoil anything for you make it worse, but it have lots of plot twists and stuff.

TBH, this movie is somewhat similar to The 100 (Which I'm in love with) especially around minute 39 the place they are walking in reminds me a lot of the prisons on the Ark.

by the end of the movie my face and neck were stiff, and I had cramps in my brain, since like I said it have many plot twists, and it's fast pacing with a lot of things happening so yeah. totally worth watching.

رأيي: معظم الوقت يصير خاطري أطالع أفلام مابعد الكارثة/ديستوبيا معناها المدينة الفاسدة/عكس يوتوبيا (أدري فيني خلل) لكن مو سهل ألاقي واحد حلو، ومن زمان ماطالعت فلم حلو بشكل عام، هذا الفلم من أفضل الأفلام اللي طالعتها. صدق صدق فلم عجيب ويشد الشخص. ما يعتبر فلم رعب لكن فيه مقاطع تزهق الواحد، وفيه وحوش قبيحة تاكل البشر، والطفل الوحش كرهته حدي يخرع عدل، هذا هو الرعب في الفلم. شرح القصة صعب، ويعتبر مستحيل إذا بشرح بدون ماأحرق الفلم، لكن فيه حبكات واجد.

هالفلم يذكرني بمسلسل الـ100 (أعشقه هالمسلسل) بالأخص عند الدقيقة 39 المكان اللي يمشون فيه يذكرني بالسجن اللي في الآرك.

قريب نهاية الفلم وجهي ورقبتي كانو متشنجين، وجاني شد عظلي في مخي، لأن مثل ماقلت فيه حبكات واجد، والقصة تتطور بسرعة و أشياء واجد تصير وجذي يعني. صدق يستحق المشاهدة.

Did I like the ending ? Hmm.. how to say it without spoilers? Umm.. The ending was a bit dull, it was not the ending I expected will be happening, but I liked it :)

عجبتني النهاية؟ إممم.. شلون أقول رايي بدون ما أحرق القصة؟ ممم.. النهاية كانت باردة شوي، وماكانت النهاية اللي توقعتها بتاتاً، لكن عجبتني :)

when Payton opened the windows (whatever it is called) and everything was black, no stars no nothing, I thought they were nowhere, there is no Tanis, there is nothing left it the world the whole world have vanished and the ship is stuck in nothingness so it wasn't moving.. then came the fish and I thought Sh*! they made it but the planet is uninhabitable!!! and when they got out, it reminded a lot of the game Subnautica lol

يوم الملازم بايتون فتح الدريشة (شيسمونها نافذة المركبة) وكل شي كان أسود، لانجوم ولاشي، توقعت أنهم في العدم (موفي مكان أبداً nowhere) ماكان في تانيس ولا شي، مابقى ولاشي في العالم، الوجود كله أختفى والسفينة علقت في الفراغ من جذي ماكانت تتحرك.. وتطلع السمكة وقلت شـ**! وصلو الكوكب لكنه غير صالح للحياة!! لكن يوم طلعو المكان يشبه لعبة سبنوتيكا ههه

أنصح فيه لــ: إذا كنتو تدورون فلم عجيب فيه إثارة تخليكم قاعدين على أعصابكم طول الفلم. أو إذا كنتو تبون تطالعون فلم رعب بس خوافين حدكم وتحلمون في الليل.

Ok, their website is beautiful, it have nice graphics and reminds me of PlayStation games. it have the typical stuff you'll see in other websites (about the film, trailer and clips, cast and crew, gallery) and offers free downloads and games! they have 3 games which are not easy to play :/ and last but not least: they have an iPhone game!

الموقع مالهم حلو وواجد عجبني، الجرافيك اللي فيه تذكرني بألعاب البلايستيشن. الموقع فيه الأشياء اللي في كل المواقع (عن الفلم، ترايلر وفيديوهات، الممثلين وطاقم العمل، معرض الصور) ويقدم تنزيل مجاني وألعاب! عندهم 3 ألعاب لكن صعبة شوي :/ وعندهم بعد لعبة للأيفون!

Book Review: Life of Irrational Choices by Apoorv Vishnoi

I was invited on 7th August 2015 by Life of Irrational Choices (LOIRC) on Tomoson to review their eBook of the same name, I saw the invite a few days later and applied to their promotion , the author sent me the books on the 22nd August 2015 but I just got around to reading it today.

My Opinion: This is not my cup of tea, I prefer fiction and books, books that talk about interesting things, or stuff that I can learn from, this book tells the life story of the author (Apoorv Vishnoi), which I had no interest in. But I did manage to read the eBook because I agreed to review it, it was somewhat like a chore because I am not interested in this kind of books, but it was an easy read and I managed to read it under an hour. The book was not a total waste of time, because there are some stuff that you can learn from it, like how proposing to a girl just because you find her beautiful is a very stupid idea (I actually burst out laughing at that, what was he thinking ?!), And that even though money may bring means to make you happy, it is not equal to happiness, there are other lesson that you can learn by reading this book. 

The author also mentioned few books that helped him in each situation that are worth checking out if you got time. Also at the end of the eBook there are freebies, which consist of template of the techniques the author used, which can help you evaluate, monitor, and change your life for good. And, you can get feedback on your template from the author of life of irrational Choices!

So let's start getting ready from today,

- Make sure you got everything you need for tomorrow (stationery, your schedule, makeup...etc.), and put it where you can see it, so you won't forget taking it with you

- Lay down what you'll wear tomorrow, that'll save you time -and stress- in the morning, also lay down your make up so you won’t have to waste your time looking for your stuff.

- Give yourself a nice pampering shower, and make sure your whole body is clean. **do not get a facial today, because your face might get irritated, a facial should be done at least 3 days prior to your event** you can do a face mask, but don't try anything new for the first time because you don't know how your skin will react to it

- Sleep early, I know it is not an easy task, but being sleepy throughout your first day will make things hard for you, aim to sleep for at least 4 hours

خلنا نبدأ نستعد من اليوم،

- إتأكدو إن كل أغراضكم جاهزة (القرطاسية، الجدول، المكياج... إلخ)، وحطوها في مكان تشوفونه علشان لا تنسونها

- جهزو الثياب اللي بتلبسونها من اليوم، علشان بكرة توفرون وقت الصبح، جهزو بعد المكياج اللي بتستخدمونه علشان لا تقعدون تدورونه

- إخذو شور مريح ودلعو روحكم، أهمشي يكون كل جسمكم نظيف لما تخلصون. **لاتسوون فيشل/تنظيف بشرة اليوم، لأن بشرتكم بتتحسس، الفيشل لازم يتسوى قبل بـ3 أيام ع الأقل** تقدرون تسوون ماسك/قناع للبشرة، بس لاتجربون شي جديد لأن ماتدرون شلون راح تستجيب بشرتكم

- نامو من وقت، أدري مهمة صعبة، لكن إذا كنتو تعبانين وفيكم النومة طول اليوم بينعفس يومكم، حاولو تنامون ع الأقل 4 ساعات

Now, I said to get your things ready, but what should you bring with you?

- Your schedule (click here if you don't know how to find it), it is very important to have your schedule with you since it contains all the information you'll need (class time and number, your ID, class name...etc.), I recommend you screenshot and use it as your phone lock screen, this way you'll be able to see it all the time. But really, bring your schedule, because unlike school, your name won't be written on the class door so you'll need that class number to find your class.

- A file, because you'll be given the class syllabus, and you don't want to lose that

- Notebook & Pen, to write important information (grading system, professor's name, midterm dates...etc.) you can check my post on what stationery you'll need here

- Money for your books, because you'll need to buy books

- Extra pair of comfortable shoes, Since it's your first day I'm sure you'll be wearing new shoes, and you know how new shoes tend to hurt feet on the first wear, so bring a comfy pair of shoes with you just in case. With that said, girls try not to wear high heels

- phone charger/power bank, because you don’t want your phone to die on you all of a sudden

- Perfume/Deodorant, because moving around in the hot weather can cause lots of sweating, you can see the full post here

ألحين، مساعة قلت أن لازم تجهزون أغراضكم لبكرة، لكن شنو الأغراض اللي بتحتاجونها؟

- جدولكم (تقدرون تشوفون شلون تطلعون الجدول من هني)، حده مهم إنكم تجيبون الجدول وياكم لأن فيه كل المعلومات اللي بتحتاجونها(رقم الصف ووقته، رقمكم الجامعي، رمز المقررات..إلخ)، أنصح إنكم تكبجرونه وتستخدمون الصورة كخلفية لشاشة التلفون يصيرأسهل لكم تشوفونه في أي وقت. لكن صدق ضروري يكون عندكم الجدول، لأن هني مو نفس المدرسة، إسمكم مابيكون مكتوب على باب الصف، لازم تحفظون رقم الصف وتروحونه

- فايل، لأن بيوزعون عليكم الخطة الدراسية/توصيف المقرر، وماتبون تضيعونها

- دفتر وقلم، حق تكتبون المعلومات المهمة (توزيع الدرجات، إسم الدكتور/ة، تواريخ الإمتحانات... إلخ) تقدرون تجيكون البوست اللي سويته عن القرطاسية هني

- فلوس حق تشترون الكتب 

- جوتي مريح إحتياطي، لأنه أول يوم متأكدة إنكم بتكشخون بجوتي جديد، وكلنا نعرف شلون الجوتي الجديد يعور الرجول في أول لبسة، علشان جذي جيبو جوتي إحتياط. وبنات حاولو ماتلبسون كعب

- شاحن التلفون/شاحن متنقل(فراري)، لأن ماتبغون تلفونكم يبند عليكم بدون جارج

- عطر/مزيل عرق، لأن واجد بتتمشون في هالحر، البوست كامل موجود هني

Are you nervous about tomorrow? You probably won't know what you'll do right? I didn't know what to expect on my first day

متوترين بسبب بكرة؟ أكيد ماتدرون وش بتسوون صح؟ أنا بعد ماكنت أدري شنو أتوقع في أول يوم لي

Let me tell you some tips first:

- Most importantly, make sure you attend University (and all of your classes) on the first day, not going is not cool, and you'll miss stuff because -normally- professors handout syllabus, introduce themselves and tell you their rules, introduce the subject and how you should study for it, tell you what book to buy...etc.

- As I said earlier, you gotta sleep early to wake up early, because early bird gets the worm, and because rushing in the morning can be stressing and that is not a good way to start your day, so make sure you wake up early to give yourself plenty of time in the morning, I wake up an hour before I have to leave, so I can get ready in time (because I always procrastinate and find distractions)

Tip: use sleepbot to help you wake up smoothly

- Make sure you have breakfast, because you'll need energy, and nobody like Hangry people

- Leave the house early, since there is always traffic, and since it is the first day, there will be traffic inside the Uni

- Arriving early is good, you'll find a nice parking spot, and you'll get plenty of time to look for your classes.

- Enter the class early to find a seat, if you come late (which'll give the professor a bad impression of you) you might not find an empty chair to sit in since the class will be full, and you'll have to bring one from the nest class which can be a hassle. Also keep in mind that there is not assigned seating so you gotta go early every time

خل أعطيكم شوي نصائح أول:

- أهم شي تأكدو أنكم تداومون أول يوم وتحضرون كل الحصص، ترى مو كشخة أن ماتحضرون أول يوم، بتفوتكم أشياء مهمة لأن -عادةً- الدكاترة في أول محاضرة يوزعون توصيف المقررات، يعرفون عن أنفسهم ويقولون لكم قوانينهم، يعرفونكم على المادة ويقولون لكم شلون تدرسون لها، يقولون لكم أي كتاب تشترونه للمادة...إلخ

- مثل ماقلت من شوي، لازم تنامون من وقت حق تقعدون من وقت، لأن العجلة من الصبح تسبب توتر وهذي مو طريقة يبدي بها الواحد يومه، عشان جذي إعطو نفسكم وقت كافي من الصبح حق تجهزون، أنا أقعد قبل لا أطلع من البيت بساعة حق يكون عندي وقت كافي إنني أجهز (لأنني واجد أضيع وقت )

نصيحة: إستخدمو برنامج سليب بوت حق يساعدكم إنكم تقعدون من الصبح براحة

- تريقو، لأن بتحتاجون طاقة حق تواصلون يومكم، ومحد يحب الناس اللي نفسيتها خايسة لأنها ماكلت

- إطلعو من البيت من وقت، لأن الطريق دائماً زحمة، ولأنه أول يوم دوام الزحمة راح تكون دبل

- أحسن إنكم توصلون الجامعة من وقت، حق تحصلون بارك عدل، ويكون عندكم وقت كفاية تدورون صفكم.

- إدخلو السكشن من وقت قبل لاتبتدي المحاضرة علشان تحصلون مكان، إذا دخلتو متأخرين (وهذا بيعطي الدكتور إنطباع سيء عنكم) يمكن ماتحصلون كرسي فاضي وبتحتاجون تجيبون واحد من السكشن اللي صوبه كلش مالة داعي كل هذا، تعالو من وقت وفكو روحكم. أي ، ترى هني مو نفس المدرسة كل واحد له مكانه، هني من سبق لبق، فكل يوم روحو من وقت حق تحصلون مكان

Okay, let's talk about what we should do on our first day:

أوكي، ألحين نتكلم عن الأشياء اللي لازم تسوونها أول يوم:

- Go get a locker, it is better to get one as early as you can so you can get one, because there is a bit shortage on them

- While you are there (at the locker registration office, I mean) register for transportation as well (only if you don't have a car) Post coming soon on that

- You can go buy books today (I guess books are sold in hall 18, will update it when I get sure). Personally, I prefer going on the second day (MW) since the place won't be as crowded, and I'll be knowing all the books I need since I attended all my classes.

- Did you know that UoB offers its students free Wi-Fi? Connect to it (do you need me to make a tutorial?)

- Walk around to discover the place

- And most importantly, enjoy your day ♥

- روحو خذو لكم لوكر، كل ماتروحون قبل كل ماكان أحسن لأن ماعندهم لوكرات كفاية

- دام إنتو هناك سجلو لمواصلات الجامعة مرة وحدة (هذا إذا ماكان عندكم سيارة) بنزل بوست قريب عن هالشي

- تقدرون تروحون تشترون كتبكم اليوم (أتوقع أن الكتب يبيعونها في قاعة 18، بعدل البوست لما أتأكد). شخصياً، أفضل أروح ثاني يوم (MW) لأن المكان مايكون واجد زحمة، وبكون حضرت كل محاضراتي يعني أعرف كل الكتب اللي بحتاجها وآخذها مرة وحدة

- تدرون أن جامعة البحرين توفر لطلبتها واي فاي مجان؟ إشبكو هليه (تبون أسوي شرح للطريقة؟)

- أفترو في الجامعة إستكشفوها

Today I'll be talking on how to maintain your hygiene in University, which is a thing many people are worried about, let’s start with the main and most important thing, Sweat.
Sweat, it's our body's built-in air conditioner to prevent us from overheating, it also detoxifies the body, lowers kidney store risks, eases pain, blasts zits and heals wounds, boosts endorphin and many more benefits.
But let's not forget about sweats side effects; bad odor and sweat marks, it can be embarrassing if you are at school or out. So how do we prevent that dreaded smell?

اليوم بتكلم عن شلون تحافظون على نظافتكم وأنتو في الجامعة، لأن ناس واجد يحاتون هالشي، أول شي ببدي أتكلم عن أهم نقطة وهي العرق

العرق، هو جهاز التكييف في جسم الأنسان يبردالجسم إذا زادت درجه الحرارة، وهو ينقي الجسم من السموم، يقل الإصابة بحصى الكلى، يخفف الآلام، يقظي على الحبوب في البشرة، يعالج ويساعد على إلتآم الجروح، يعزز الإندروفين في الجسم وله واجد فوايد غير.

لكن خلنا ماننسى آثاره الجانبية; رايحه "عطرة" وبقع رطبه على الثياب، تسبب إحراج للشخص بالأخص في المدرسة أو برا البيت. إنزين شلون نتخلص من هالشي؟

بما أن الجداول بتنزل بكرة حبيت أراويكم شلون تشوفون جدولكم وشلون تقرونه، أول شي تحتاجون أن يكون عندكم رقمكم الجامعي و الباسوورد مالكم (هذلين أهم شي في حياة الطالب الجامعية أحفظوهم عن ضهر قلب ولا تعلمونهم لأحد بتاتاً)

إنزين، أول شي نفتح موقع الجامعة online.uob.edu.bh

بيطلع لنا جذي، نضغط أوكي حق تروح هذي النافذة

عقب نضغط على Student Login

بتطلع لنا هذي النافذة، نكتب رقمنا الجامعة والباسوورد عقب نضغط Log In

وعقب بتطلع لنا صفحة فيها الجداول حق التسجيل (هذي الصفحة تتغير من وقت لوقت، مهمة المعلومات اللي فيها حق الحذف والإضافة والدفع، يمن اللي في الصورة اللي هني شكلها غير عن الموقع بس الخطوات ماتختلف)

تالي بيفتح لنا الموقع (تبون أسوي شرح للموقع وشلون يستخدم؟)

نضغط على Current Schedule

وبتطلع لنا صفحة جذي نختار الجدول مال أي كورس، بما أنكم أول كورس بيطلع لكم جدول واحد بس فما يحتاج تختارون، سيدة أضغطو View
